Directors and senior managers of provider organisations delivering health, social care and well0being services in Wales are being urged to attend a Social Services Improvement Agency (SSIA) and Welsh Government workshop on market facilitation on March 12.
- The aim of the workshop is to provide an overview of national context and explain what market facilitation is.
- It will also provide an opportunity for providers to consider what they would find helpful to see in a MPS (market position statement) and how they might contribute to their development.
What will the workshop cover?
This one day workshop will cover the following:
- Introductions and overview from SSIA and/or Welsh Government
- The national policy context and an outline of local and national market issues
- Market facilitation approaches and activities
- What is a Market Position Statement
- Example models of good practice in market engagement and market facilitation
- Exercise: what data do you need to drive your business planning / service planning?
- Exercise: what sort of anonymous data would you be willing to share?
New SSIA guidance, in the form of a MPS Toolkit, will be shared at the event.
