Care home residents show they’ve got ‘art’

Residents of the Romilly Nursing Home in Cardiff showed off their artistic prowess over the summer with an exhibition of famous paintings they’d recreated.

One of the residents, a graduate of London’s Slade school of Art, was particularly overjoyed:  she broke down after completing a painting after admitting she never thought she could paint again.
