A revised Code for nurses and midwives was published on the 29 January and has generated significant press coverage and attracted considerable positive comment, according to the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
    
All nurses and midwives will receive a copy of the Code before it becomes effective on 31 March 2015, plus information on how to start getting ready for revalidation.
     
The NMC has developed resources that can be used to support the introduction of the revised Code. They can be downloaded from the NMC website.
