Working in Welsh? Online resources available from CCW

The Care Council for Wales has been developing a toolkit of resources for social care staff ‘Working In Welsh’.

  • The resources can be accessed via the CCW website here.

The resources are designed for staff working in the sector to either begin to use, or improve, their Welsh language skills.

The use of Welsh in care settings is part of the Welsh Government’s strategic framework, ‘More Than Words’, for the health and social care sector which requires care providers to ensure that they are able to actively offer Welsh language care services to the same standard as English language care services.

More than Just Words, the Welsh Government’s Strategic Framework for the Welsh language in Health and Social Care, requires care providers to make sure that they are able to actively offer Welsh language care services to the same standard as English language care services.
