As part of CSSIW’s new inspection framework, the organisation will look at and report if a service is providing the Welsh language – and whether a service is provided in Welsh without someone asking for it.

The new framework includes the Welsh Government’s ‘active offer’ approach to providing services in Welsh, launched in February.
