There has been a huge increase in nominations for the Wales Care Awards this year with entries up 40 per cent on 2016.

Mario Kreft said: “We have received entries from more than 68 different organisations, large and small. It is one of our best years ever and I think it really speaks volumes about how people value the social care sector.”

The nominations will be with the judges by the end of April and the shortlist will be ready by the end of May.
