Care Forum Wales has submitted its response to the Welsh Government consultation on proposed changes to legislation relating to zero hours contracts, reflecting the concerns and views of social care providers across Wales.
To ensure our response was informed by the experiences of those working on the frontline, Care Forum Wales convened an open feedback session with members on Thursday 20th August. The session gave members an opportunity to share their views on the proposed changes, raise concerns about the potential impact on social care providers and employees, and highlight the practical challenges the sector may face.
The feedback from members has helped shape our consultation response and ensure that the voice of social care providers is represented in the consultation process.
