St Helens is an Agency, which provides domiciliary care services in the area of Monmouthshire, Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent.
These services are provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.St Helens are registered as a large agency to provide support to adults with learning difficulties, physical difficulties and mental health issues.

St Helens currently provides personal care support to 4 Service Users in their own homes.
Statement of Aims and Objectives

The overall objective of the agency is the provision of personal, domestic and social support to enable people of all ages to be cared for in their own homes and in their communities.
The aim of St Helens is to provide all necessary and appropriate care and to achieve these objectives by:
• Promoting the welfare of service users receiving the service
• To respect the human rights of service users i.e. personal freedom, choices in daily living, dignity and self respect, independence, privacy and exercising of free will
• Involving the service user in decision making which concerns him/her
• To respond to the changing needs of the service user
• To accept a wide range of home conditions
• To assist the service user with the development and retention of skills in relation to domestic and personal care
•To promote community participation in relation to the experience of visiting, belonging, sharing and using facilities available in ordinary places that define the local community life
•To maintain a confidential serviceSt Helens believes that every individual has a right to an ordinary valued life, that he or she should be assisted as necessary to use his/her capacities to the fullest extent to achieve this, that every individual should be treated with respect and given theopportunity to exercise choice and maintain as much independence as possible.
