Secret Filming Seminar – 24th March 2010

CFW will be running a seminar.  It arises in part out of the court case surrounding the BBC’s undercover filming last year in a care home in South Wales, but will also cover issues around staff misuse of photographs, recordings, video footage etc e.g. via mobile phones, or through posting information on social networking sites.

You will see that the speakers include Alison Castrey, CFW’s legal adviser, Paula Abbandonato of Vibe, who advise CFW on PR and marketing, and also David Thomas, who has spoken at Essential Updates.  Barrister Madeleine Heal will speak about the secret filming case, and also the general issue of dealing with threats to business ‘intellectual property’, such as cyber-squatting and the use of similar trading names by competitors.

The seminar is in Cardiff, and the team have tried to keep the cost to a reasonable level.  You will see that there are discounts for early booking and multiple delegates.
