Get up to date on CSSIW inspection changes with October Essential Updates

THIS month Care Forum Wales is running Essential Update courses in south and north Wales which will provide members with up-to-date information on CSSIW inspection changes.

Also on the programme will be speakers from Action on Hearing and the RNIB talking on sensory loss; Public Health Wales on workplace health, Apetito on nutrition.

Health and safety advice on the agenda

CFW’s health and safety adviser, Anthony Arcari, will talk to members at the workshops about the dangers of legionella and also window restricters.

The Care Council for Wales will give an update to members at the workshops in Swansea and Cardiff (October 30 and 31 respectively) on workplace development and registration.

Workshops are being held at:

  • October 24: Conwy Business Centre, Conwy
  • October 30: Tree Tops Country Club, Swansea
  • October 31: Best Western, Maldron Hotel, Cardiff

Seminars run from 9.30-3pm and cost £25 per delegate (members) and £85 for non-members. Find out more about CFW members’ training.
