The First Minister, Carwyn Jones, opened the Five Nations social care conference in Cardiff last week (October 17).

The event marked the 20th anniversary of Care Forum Wales and it was the second time the Five Nations Group – membership includes care associations from the UK home nations and the Republic of Ireland – has been hosted in Wales.

Care Forum Wales welcomes the support of the First Minister for the group which is working together on pan-UK and Ireland issues in the social care sector.
