Workshops for social care managers – make your induction process smoother

The Care Council for Wales is offering places at a series of training workshops in February for social care mangers / deputies / assistants who have supervisory responsibilities to help them run make inductions run as smoothly as possible.

Monday 10th February 2014, 10.30am – 3.30pm

National Botanical Garden of Wales, Carmarthen

What the workshops will cover

The workshops aim to raise awareness of a range of tools and resources that are available from the Care Council to support induction processes including:

  • The social care induction framework (SCIF) and associated support materials
  • Quality Assured Lifelong Learning (QALL) units for the SCIF
  • E-learning resources and applications (apps)
  • The workshops will also be used to seek feedback on a review of the Code of Practice for social care workers.

Places are limited – please book by Friday 31st January 2014. NB Places are limited to two people per organisation.
