CFW joins new National Advisory Board set up by CSSIW

The new National Advisory Board set up by the Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales (CSSIW) has met for the first time.

CFW’s Mary Wimbury (pictured) attended the introductory meeting – the first official meeting takes place on February 19. She said: “I’m pleased CFW is represented on the new National Advisory Board and hope to be able to influence CSSIW’s work in a positive way for providers.”

It is hoped that as well as providing a critical overview the board will also provide positive suggestions and solutions to the challenges facing care and social services in Wales. The board will meet quarterly at locations across Wales.
