Cardiff Hosts Five Nations Care Forum

We were delighted to host the Five Nations Care Forum in Cardiff over the past two days, welcoming colleagues from across Wales, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland to engage in vital discussions on the future of social care.

The forum provides a valuable opportunity for sector leaders to come together, share insights, and collaboratively address the pressing challenges facing social care across our nations.
We were honoured to welcome Jeremy Miles, Welsh Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care, who spoke candidly about the current pressures within the sector. He also outlined the Welsh Government’s ongoing efforts and strategic initiatives to strengthen and support health and social care services throughout Wales.

The Five Nations Care Forum serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of collaboration and shared learning in overcoming common challenges. As we continue to navigate an evolving care landscape, forums like these reinforce the collective commitment to innovation, improvement, and excellence in care delivery across all five nations.

We thank all colleagues for their contributions and look forward to continuing these important conversations.
