Ynysddu Nursing Home

We Care: LIKE A FAMILY
Our extremely experienced team of nurses and carers is led by the Manager and all our staff members are committed to delivering the very highest standards of care. Male and female care staff are employed so that residents can have their preferred choice of carer. Our home is registered for people over the age of 18 years, however we offer our care service on an individual basis.
ynysddu Nursing Home is a 31-bed home which is situated in a small valley in the Caerphilly borough. The Home was originally a police station from 1902 until the mid-1960s. The village itself is very small but many of its inhabitants have lived in Ynysddu all their lives, some have even come to live in the Nursing Home.
The Home has undergone a reconfiguration and a large extension which has enabled it to become a registered nursing and residential home. It has maintained lots of its original character and is still the largest building in the village. Lots of families and residents themselves can remember the building as a police station and there are always stories to be told.
Recently, we have extended the main lounge and built a new patio area, with glass balustrade handrails, for residents to enjoy.
