The Oaklands is a pretty Victorian House set in mature gardens and has been a small family based care home since 1987. Person Centred care is the ethos for delivering a service to older people and those with physical disabilities and or dementia. The Oakland’s is able to provide a service to people under 65 with a certificate of variation from CSSIW if needs arises such as recovery from strokes or other illness. The Oaklands philosophy is to focus on an individual care approach supporting people to maintain their independence, whilst treating people with dignity and respect; maintaining privacy and choice.
