Llys Newydd – Part of the peaceful village of Capel Hendre in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, Llys Newydd is a tastefully decorated care home with 35 beds, offering residential care and residential memory care for those living with dementia.
Living with us – With splendid scenic views of the surrounding countryside, Llys Newydd is a small home that offers the choice of two sitting rooms and a dining area all designed with the Residents’ comfort in mind. The pretty, enclosed garden, which includes a sunny patio and a delightful sensory garden, provides a lovely backdrop for Residents and their friends and family. All bright, comfortable bedrooms and living areas are easily accessible by wheelchair. Many of our staff are bilingual, so can happily chat in English or Welsh.
The home’s caring team has created a family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat and celebrate special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life is carefully designed to support mind, body and soul.
