Ashbury House offers accommodation for six adults with learning disabilities, additional physical disabilities and/or special needs. Ashbury provides six individual bedrooms, all with hand basins; two of the bedrooms are en suite. The service has two bathrooms, both of which have a mounted hoisting system. There is a large lounge, conservatory, kitchen and utility room. Approximately ten minutes drive from Newport city, individuals can enjoy shopping trips and visiting a variety of recreation venues that include swimming pools, bowling alleys, cinemas, parks and various sport complexes. The service has its own minibus that provides individuals with access to day services, social events and learning activities related to life skills within the community
