Bryn Seiont Newydd opened its Dementia Care Centre in 2015, followed by the community unit Parc Bryn Seiont in 2017. The Centre supports people with a wide range of dementia and mental health needs, while Parc Bryn Seiont also offers companion living care apartments – a unique opportunity for people to remain together or be reunited. The care apartments include two en-suite bedrooms, a lounge and a kitchen, with one-bedroom apartments and single en-suite bedroom options also available.

Bryn Seiont Newydd is arranged into small ‘Ty’ (houses), each with dedicated staff and a homely, family atmosphere tailored to specialist needs, gender and age. Each house includes its own lounge to provide choice for relaxation, privacy, stimulation and communal living. Residents also benefit from shared facilities such as a central coffee shop, an exercise suite, and a hair and beauty salon. The home fosters a therapeutic community, offering a wide range of enrichment therapies and activities to enhance daily life, support independence, and help people achieve their goals.

The team of Registered Nurses, Clinical Care Practitioners and Care Practitioners are highly trained and qualified across diverse areas of mental health, providing professional, friendly and understanding care.

Set within five acres of tranquil grounds, the home is surrounded by gardens, trees and open countryside, with safe central gardens and a walled garden in an elevated position overlooking the castle. The location offers an idyllic rural setting while remaining close to local amenities. Bryn Seiont Newydd was proud to be named Best New Care Home in the UK in 2016.
