The purpose-built home has accommodation for 35 residents in 23 single and 6 shared rooms. The home is arranged in three residents’ units, each with its own lounge, dining room and kitchenette for self-catering snacks and drinks. A communal quiet lounge and a conservatory for those who may choose to smoke, is available.
The Chirk Court catering staff ensure a varied, interesting and healthy diet is available. We aim to maintain and enhance the residents’ level of independence and choice wherever possible. We encourage them to access all the activities and services available in the community. Residents actively contribute to planning programmes of activity both inside and outside the home. Each resident has their own care plan, which is reviewed regularly, and they benefit from personal support from our care workers. All resident areas feature a sophisticated nurse call system.
