With over 25 years of experience in providing exceptional care and support, Chirk Court has expanded its services to meet the needs of residents living with dementia. This includes a purpose-built extension completed in Spring 2016.
The dementia unit features state-of-the-art facilities and comprises four EMH (Elderly Mentally Handicapped) ‘households’, each designed to a high standard and accommodating 14 residents. The layout and care approach are based on the University of Stirling’s principles and standards for outstanding dementia care.
Located in a quiet residential area of Chirk, Wrexham, the home is easily accessible to local amenities. Regular public transport services connect residents and visitors to Wrexham, Oswestry, and Llangollen.
