Highfield Nursing Home

Highfield is registered to provide round-the-clock general nursing and complex care to adults of all ages, delivered by a highly qualified team of Registered Nurses, Clinical Care Practitioners, and Care Practitioners.

Highfield comprises two community units, Highfield and Cae Bryn. The care provided is always tailored to enhance each individual’s quality of life within friendly, clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive surroundings, complemented by therapies and activities that enrich daily living.

Highfield was the first care home in Wales to achieve the groundbreaking end-of-life accreditation, The Six Steps Programme (formerly known as the Gold Standards Framework). This programme helps to improve the quality of care provided from the day a person arrives through to the end of their life, focusing on reducing unnecessary hospital admissions and prioritising residents’ needs and preferences.

Highfield is also well suited for individuals requiring a period of convalescence or a short break in a supportive, caring environment. Independence is actively promoted, with an emphasis on rehabilitation, supported by an in-house physiotherapy department.

Residents can enjoy a wide range of delicious home-cooked meals, and the spacious rooms and suites are designed to the highest possible standards. The tranquil setting and landscaped gardens are surrounded by open countryside, yet conveniently close to Wrexham town centre and its amenities.
