SACCS is unique in providing a fully integrated range of therapeutic support for traumatised children via the Recovery Team whose purpose is to plan, deliver, measure and review the recovery process towards a point where transitional plans can be achieved.
The SACCS Recovery Programme (SRP) is a dedicated working methodology aimed at delivering 24 measurable outcomes for children based on 6 areas of development.
The SRP includes:
• A comprehensive Pre-Admission Assessment, Needs Analysis and an Impact Assessment to match the child to each home.
• An Individual Recovery Plan that is linked to the Individual Placement Agreement.
• A Framework model for Evidencing Observable and Internalised change.
• All staff receive Level 5 Foundation degree training.
• 80% of staff have an NVQ Level 3.
• No agency staff used in our homes since 2005.
• Average adult/child ratio is 1:1.6.
