Ucan Care Limited was established in May 2009 with a set of clear core values based on valuing people and high quality person-centred service provision.
We provide specialist 24 hour care for individuals over the age of 18, with complex mental health needs and/or challenging behaviour. Residents are encouraged to be independent whilst being supported to achieve their full potential. All residents have individualised, person centred and bespoke care plans in place which are reviewed regularly by the care team.
Our core values are embedded throughout the organisation; from the décor and renovation of the homes to the motivation of our residents and staff team and ongoing investment in the training and personal development of our staff. The majority of the staff team have provided a loyal service for many years. Both homes are proud to have achieved IIP status for several years running.
Ucancare continues to grow from strength to strength offering the highest possible service. Both homes actively strive to access and meet the needs of all individuals residing at the homes and these are identified with clear pathways of support which commence after undertaking comprehensive assessments.
We have two lovely homes of a high spec in the Rhondda Cynon Taff locality, Mill house and Hillside. Mill House is a 3-bedded home in a riverside location and Hillside is a grand 6 bedded residence in a leafy town suburb. Both homes benefit from easy access to the local towns, parks, leisure facilities and transport links up and down the valley to Cardiff.
