N Wales: FREE conference for health & social care workers
The Royal College of Nursing's north Wales branch is funding a FREE conference on February 19 at Conwy Business Centre aimed at health and social care workers.
The theme of the conference is sharing ways to improve the lives of both carers and those they care for. RCN members and non-members are welcome to attend the event.
The conference will be chaired by Alison Davies, associate director of professional practice, RCN Wales.
There will be some very inspirational speakers including:
• Val Bailey, Professional Practice Co-ordinator, RCN Wales
• Steve Watson, Primary Care and Independent Sector Advisor, RCN Wales Development Centrer
• Rachel Robins, The Transforming Care Team
• Ceinwen Owen, Time to Change Wales
• Dr Marjorie Lloyd, Senior Lecturer at Bangor University.
• Kevin Pasco, Open University
