Government Equalities Office: Equality Act 2010 - The public sector equality duty - Promoting equality through transparency consultation

This consultation is seeking views on proposals for draft regulations to impose specific duties under the Equality Act 2010 on public bodies, including care regulators and local authorites. (Those tendering for council work and regulated by public bodies may like to note these changes in case they have a knock-on effect.)
