Merthyr care home unveils £800k refurbishment
Greenhill Manor care home in Merthyr Tydfil has unveiled a fabulous new £800,000 refurbishment with the help of Merthyr Mayor Margaret Davies and Welsh movie actor Steve Spiers.
Among the revamped areas in the home, which is run by CFW council member Mark McCole, residents will find an old-fashioned pub interior and a farmhouse kitchen and modern café, pictured.
The home was recently visited by local AM Dawn Bowden as part of CFW's campaign to highlight the issues facing the care home sector to Assembly members.
