Description: The Fairhaven Rest Home provides residential care in a homely environment for people of 60 years and over. Fairhaven is situated just a short walk from the promenade of Colwyn Bay and within easy walking distance of the shopping centre, which has a good selection of shops.
Our experienced care team is able to provide 24 hour care ranging from short stays and rehabilitation, to caring for those who need full time support and encouragement.
We provide a varied programme of activities, musical entertainment and regular outings in our minibus to picturesque areas around us. Excellent home cooked meals, with a choice of menu, are taken in our attractive dining room. Breakfast is served in the individual’s room, so residents may arise at their leisure. In addition to our lounges, we have a sun room at the front of the Home, where residents can sit and watch the world go by.
Residents may come and go as they wish, although a carer will accompany anyone if they request. In fact we like to think of the Home as more of a hotel, but with constant care provided if and when required. Some of our staff are Welsh speaking, so Welsh residents can converse with them in their own language if preferred.
