Description: 3 years ago Life Long Learning 4 Living Ltd., became involved with "Investors in People". We saw this as an opportunity to bench mark our small family run residential home for Adults with Learning Disabilities, to show where we stood within a nationally accredited and recognized kite mark scheme. We also saw this engagement as away of developing and moving standards forward.
We achieved the Bronze award in 2011.
Looking to be re-accredited in April this year we were looking to maintain those standards.
The out come from our re assessment showed that we had continued to improve and were awarded the Gold standard, which we are led to believe that only 2% of organisations in Wales achieve this within the care sector in Wales.
Investors in People made a specific reference to awards that we achieved last year from the Wales Care Awards and highlighted our commitment to training and work force development.
We are a small organisation and we are looking to share this positive achievement
