The Oakland's is able to provide a service to people under 65 with a certificate of variation from CSSIW if needs arises such as recovery from strokes or other illness. Description: The Oaks is a residential care home which provides care and support for the elderly. We are located in Rogerstone, just outside the centre of Newport, South Wales. Situated on a quiet country lane leading to Newport Golf Course and adjacent to a canal and tow path, The Oaks is surrounded by peace and tranquility and yet is still within easy and independent access to a variety of amenities offered by the city of Newport.
The Oaks has been established as a residential care home for the elderly since 1988 and provides personal care for 30 residents. We pride ourselves on the loving and homely atmosphere at the Oaks, constantly striving to deliver a real home from home.

Description: At The Old Vicarage we aim to provide all our residents with a secure, relaxed and homely environment. We offer 24 hour-nursing care for many different types of disabilities.
Our matron leads a team of dedicated nurses and care workers and demands the highest quality of care for all of our residents.
We can accommodate 47 residents in 41 single rooms and 3 twin bedded rooms. Many rooms have en-suite facilities and all the rooms have hand basins. Every room is equipped with a colour television and there is an emergency call system throughout the home.
For those who cannot use the stairs there is a passenger lift plus a stairlift between the ground and first floors. There are two main lounges, two dining rooms and extensive patio and garden areas for all our residents to use.
