Description: Cartrefle is located on the outskirts of the picturesque market town of Llanrwst, which is nestling at the foot of the Snowdonia mountain range. It is within walking distance to all local amenities such as shops, library, post office, churches and leisure centre.

Originally built as a family home at the turn of the 20th century, Cartrefle was extended in 1985 with the intention of opening it as a residential home.

Cartrefle went on to gain the reputation of being a small but friendly local home renowned for its award-winning home cooking.

Cartrefle is run as an EMI residential home offering care in both English and Welsh to meet our resident’s needs. The home is an attractive two storey building made of local stone and offers 24beds with 22 single bedrooms and 1 double bedrooms. All bedrooms have washing facilities with 4 single bedrooms having en-suites facilities.

There are 2 lounges and dining room with additional quiet areas upstairs and downstairs. There is a large garden to the front of the building and an enclosed courtyard where residents can enjoy the outside safely.

Visitors are welcomed with a panad (cup of tea) and can sit in our quieter areas or join in the fun that is happening that day. Visitors are even welcome to come and have dinner with their loved one.

The aim of Cartrefle is to offer a friendly and homely environment to meet our resident’s needs. We offer a person-centered approach to each person’s care. We aim to cater for their interests by holding various activities from special 121 sessions, themed days, trips out and even have people visiting from the local choir to the local Zoo.

We are proud of our reputation for providing excellent award-winning home cooking in a friendly and accommodating manner.

Description: Chaseley House has specialised in the loving care of the elderly since 1983 and is registered for 17 residents. We are situated in a quiet and select area of Rhos-on-Sea close to all the amenities, and just a short stroll from the picturesque promenade and beach.
Family run by Karen (a qualified nurse and Welsh speaking) and Mark Owen, our committed, qualified and experienced care team provide the very best of professional loving care to all our residents. Over the years we have gained a reputation for quality care within the local community, as well as local social services, hospitals and medical practices. By having a hands on approach ensures our residents' needs are met at all times and maintains a family like relationship with all our residents and their families and friends. The loving atmosphere, charm and character within Chaseley House is very much home like and in no way feels like an institution and this enables any new resident to settle in very quickly and become part of the family from day one.

The purpose built home is tastefully decorated to create a warm and homely environment for the residents, while the compassionate care team provide the highest standard of relationship-centred care.

Residents at Cherry Tree are encouraged to live as active and independent life as possible. The home achieve this by creating a mix of activities and events that will appeal to every taste and reflect different requirements and abilities. Cherry Tree has a dedicated activities coordinator who organises a packed calendar of events and occasions.

Description: Chirk Court is a residential home for men and women aged over 65. Its aim is to provide high quality, short and long term accommodation, with care and support in order to meet the residents’ personal, spiritual, emotional and social needs. We are committed to encouraging maximum independence in our clients, who are involved in all aspects of the home.
The purpose-built home has accommodation for 35 residents in 23 single and 6 shared rooms.The home is arranged in three residents’ units, each with its own lounge, dining room and kitchenette for self-catering snacks and drinks. A communal quiet lounge and a conservatory for those who may choose to smoke, is available.
The Chirk Court catering staff ensure a varied, interesting and healthy diet is available. A laundry service, hairdressing salon, visiting chiropodist, dentist, optician and regular church services are held. Residents are encouraged to maintain their community links and hobbies, and we welcome the involvement of family and friends with ‘always open’ visiting. Social activities are organised and the home has its own minibus.
We aim to maintain and enhance the residents’ level of independence and choice wherever possible. We encourage them to access all the activities and services available in the community. Residents actively contribute to planning programmes of activity both inside and outside the home. Each resident has their own care plan, which is reviewed regularly, and they benefit from personal support from our care workers. All resident areas feature a sophisticated nurse call system. The home is equipped with the latest fire detection and alarm systems. All of our staff are committed to improving the quality of life of our residents and all staff receive regular training.
